Global Studies. Why?

I wanted to grate in something related to International Relations since I was 12 years old. It always seemed to me that everything depends on education and talking/listening solutions to problems and solutions. However, to achieve that I need a particular set of skills that never appeared on any college script. Until I found out about LIU Global, there was no doubt that it was the best course to properly address my desire for the necessary skills to reach as many people as possible in a meaningful way. So I was inspired by this voice in my head saying that iI should go for it and try to touch as many people as I can.

Bringing people together, listening and discussing problems and solutions, help prepare for the future and advocate to minorities and those in critical situations, is was I want to do after college. I want to see the full perspective of a problem, talk to people that suffer from it and plan a solution that addresses their needs the best way possible. With Global Studies I can do all that because I have an understanding of history to not repeat previous mistakes, I have the non-violent communication to make everybody respect each other in debates, I have an economic view of the world and how it affects communities in a small scale, I can relate global problems to small communities. Thus, Global gave the tools to become who I want to be in the future, someone that will touch lives and solve problems.
